GDC Tidbits

Various articles and media files have begun to drop in from the Game Developers Conference where a couple of Maxis representatives attended, including Will Wright. I’ll try to sum it up with the most important stuff.

IGN writes about how the Spore designers have worked hard to reduce file sizes when sharing over the Internet. GameSpy has an article about the processes behind a big title like Spore and how it works to build it up from scratch. And finally GameSpot has various excerpts from Will Wright’s speach at the GDC.
At Google Video you can see a short, but insanely cool, video showing the creature editor in action.
