Release Date Pushed Back
In a recent interview with Will Wright over at GameSpot the gaming guru confirms recent rumours that Spore’s release date has been pushed back even further. The new deal is that we won’t see the game on the shelves until the second half of 2007.
WW: We’re saying the second half of next year [2007] for now.
Though that may come as a discomfort to some of us you might cheer up to read some of the other stuff in the interview, such as the fact that the development is progressing smoothly and that there’s a big chance for console versions of the game.

GOD!!!!!!!!! I CANT WAIT ANY LONGER!!!! THIS IS REALLY PISSING ME OFF !!!WHY DO THEY NEED TO PUSH THE RELEASE DATE SO MUCH I CANT WAIT ANY LONGER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Connor,
You’re an idiot, we’ll let them go ahead and release a half working version of the game just for you. As for the rest of us that are anxiously awaiting it’s release, we’ll tae the one that works.
Well, I have followed these kind of games for awhile . and overall you got to remember creating a game is no easy task. graphical assets. Glitches,Crashes and the stress of makng a progressive game such as this is an enourmose task.It will get get pushed back and yes it is frustrating. But it will be well worth the wait
