Editors Say: We Want Spore

Spore continues to be on everyone’s lips entering 2007. GameSpot UK Editor Phil Elliott lists it as his most wanted game this year in the little unorthodox category of Underwater, Prehistory, and Outer Space. GameSpy has Spore in their general listing of Most Wanted Games of 2007, while IGN changes the wording a tad and has it included in their Editor’s Most Anticipated PC Games of 2007; at the fourth spot.

This is the one title from last year’s list that didn’t quite make it out in 2006. Still, our enthusiasm and anticipation is unmitigated. Will Wright’s video game take on the Eames’ brothers Powers of Ten film is one of the most original and intriguing concepts we’ve ever seen.

Hopefully we won’t see that same sentence - with 2006 being replaced by 2007 - repeated next year.
